Research interests:
Software engineering, methods and methodologies for software development, software effort estimation, empirical software engineering, software engineering education, human computer interaction.

    Full time professor since 2001 and part-time in 1999 and 2000.

    Ministry of Transportation and Communication, Government of Peru
    Advisor to the Director of Informatics (June 2005-February 2006). In charge of:

  • Helping and advising in the adoption of ISO/IEC 12207 to the Informatics Direction
  • Helping and advising in the Rational Unified Process adoption as the methodology for the Software Development Department
  • The quality assurance of the driver's license system project.


    • ERNST & YOUNG CONSULTING (Lima-Peru)
    Consultant (08/1998 - 09/1999). Activities:

  • Coordinator in charge of Infrastructure Area in two parallel projects: Lima Airport System Project and Perfumerias Unidas System Project
  • Responsible for deploying PVCS VM in the Commercial System project at Telefónica del Perú.
